Our nation’s meddling in Libya and Egypt has only resulted in the expansion and rise of Islamists in those countries. Americans died in Libya, yet we still don’t have answers as to why they were there, why we didn’t give them help, and the promise of “justice” from President Barack Obama and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton remains unfulfilled.

This report is from the New York Times, Dec. 5, 2012: “The Obama administration secretly gave its blessing to arms shipments to Libyan rebels from Qatar last year, but American officials later grew alarmed as evidence grew that Qatar was turning some of the weapons over to Islamic militants, according to United States officials and foreign diplomats. The Obama administration clearly was worried about the consequences of its hidden hand in helping arm Libyan militants. The weapons and money from Qatar strengthened militant groups in Libya.”

It seems like Obama and his administration sure have bad luck in unintentionally aiding Islamists.

But now Obama announced that he is waiving the prohibitions in sections 40 and 40A of the Arms Export Control Act. That act prohibits sale of weapons and supplies to terrorists.

On CBS “Face the Nation”: “Our intelligence agencies, I think, have a very good handle on who to support and who not to support,” Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., said. “And there’s going to be mistakes. We understand some people are going to get arms that should not be getting arms.” That’s the big problem; we could be arming the same types that took down the twin towers or killed Americans in Libya.

Let’s remember the Kenya mall attack, 9/11, Syria, Egypt, Libya, the Fort Hood “workplace violence,” Madrid bombings, the underwear bomber, the 21,600-plus Islamist attacks worldwide since 9/11 (thereligionofpeace.com), beheadings, attacks on Coptics in Egypt and “… they raped two teachers. Three nuns were also paraded before an Islamist crowd as prisoners of war.” (persecution.org and asianews.it)

Also note that Barack Hussein Obama is reported as having six people in his administration identified as members of the Muslim Brotherhood. They are Rashad Hussain, Arif Alikhan, Salam al-Marayati, Mohammed Elibiary, Imam Mohamed Magid and Eboo Patel. (The Blaze, April 2012 and Rose El-Youssef magazine). From WND.com “Egypt’s Rose El-Youssef magazine, in a Dec. 22 story, said the six men turned the White House ‘from a position hostile to Islamic groups and organizations in the world to the largest and most important supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood.’”

Finally, remember, too, the goal of the Muslim Brotherhood. Their own document entitled “An Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Brotherhood in North America” (Government Exhibit 003-0085 easily found online). In part, it says, “Their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands.”
