What does the American flag stand for?

There has been so much in the news lately about those football players kneeling during the national anthem.   These player have been accused of demeaning the flag.   This is about as far from the truth as you can  get. Those players are just exploiting what that flag represents. It exploits our First Amendment rights. Our First Amendment says that we have freedom of expression. What these players are bringing attention to is that there are several innocent people getting killed by policemen who I think feel that since they are wearing a badge that they have a license to take a life whenever they come into a conflict. Their first reaction should be to call for a backup and not to pull out their firearm. There was a time when there were people burning the American flag. That flag protected their right to express their feelings.

I find it hard to believe that there are so many people who want to twist what those players are trying to bring attention to and try and make them look bad.

Now have you heard that Trump’s Secretary of State has allegedly called Trump a moron. Tillerson was asked if he had said this and didn’t deny it. Is he going to be the next Trump supporter that will be drained from Trump’s swamp? It seams like there have been at least a dozen in Trump’s cabinet who Trump has let go for one reason or another. I don’t remember when it has ever happened when millions of people all over the country have marched because of who was elected president. I don’t remember when there have been politicians of the same party who wanted to get their person impeached.

Do you suppose they will ever be successful in getting the creature from the Black Lagoon out of there? Did you hear what he told those Puerto Rico people after that big disaster they experienced?   Trump said they should get off their lazy behinds and start cleaning up their own mess.   Can you believe we have a president with so little compassion for people who have suffered a catastrophe like they have? Trump also accuses those football players of disrespecting the American flag.   How much longer are we going to put up with this moron?
