Funeral service for Edith M. “Pie” Jilk, 58, of Albert Lea, will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, at the Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home. The Rev. George Marin will officiate. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at Bayview and also one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
Pie died on Friday, July 17, 2009, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. 
Edith Marie “Pie” Jilk was born on Aug. 30, 1950 in Greeley, Colo., the daughter of Thomas and Edith (Stoner) Miller. On Oct. 23, 1993, she was married to Frank Jilk in Winona. Pie was a homemaker and a member of Grace Christian Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, demolition derbies and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mom, grandma, sister and aunt. She will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband Frank, of Albert Lea; children: Charles Miller, Charlottie Jilk, Mary Crawford, Tommi Weisenburger and Thomas Crawford; grandchildren: Jennifer Weisenburger, Sebastian Miller, Jennifer Jilk, Peter Jilk Jr., Colby Saunders, Christopher Johnson, Tyler Hagen, McKenna Hughes, Zada Weisenburger, Angelina Brown Jilk, and Thomas Crawford Jr.; brothers Jim Miller Tom Miller, and Charles Miller; many nieces and nephews.
Pie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jack Woodson; her sister, Goergie Mae Woodson; several aunts; four grandchildren in infancy; and her best friend, Mary Weaver.
