Here are highlights in history for Nov. 10, gleaned from the files of the Albert Lea Tribune:

1986 — A hint of winter for folks in the Albert Lea area came with an inch of snow and slick roads.

1976 — Albert Lea Community Theatre would be presenting the play, “Arsenic and Old Lace,” on Nov. 11, 12, 13, 19 & 20 at the Southwest Little Theater. This play was directed by Sue Jorgenson.

1936 — Witt Thoma and his Princetonians, “the finest orchestra available,” would be playing for the football dance after the Albert Lea-Austin game. By the way, Albert Lea won with a score of 13-7.
