With the passing of Andy Williams, I was reminded of the wonderful Christmas specials that the variety shows used to put on television.

Sunday afternoon, it was like I was reliving those great shows from the past, great voices, great band, sparkling sets and even the snow falling in the background. One big difference is I either knew or recognized the performers! All that can be said about that performance of “Soft Sounds of Christmas” at Albert Lea Community Theatre is: Wow!

Thank you so much to everyone involved with this production. You produced a great holiday memory!
