Minnesota cares about long-term care

Good Samaritan Society of Albert Lea recently hosted state Rep. Shannon Savick from District 27A at our care facility for a tour and discussion of legislation priorities pertinent to long-term care.

Minnesota has a history of supporting quality, community and person-centered care for aging residents. It is with this approach that Minnesota facilities continue to improve care and resident satisfaction. It is our goal that legislators will continue to support long-term care and caregivers in long-term care. Minnesota has a commitment to aging citizens as well as a commitment to ensuring the care given in a long-term care facility is reimbursed appropriately as the rates are established by the Minnesota government.

We look forward to working with Rep. Shannon Savick, state Sen. Dan Sparks and other legislators who are charged with keeping Minnesota’s commitment to seniors, families and caregivers.
