Pancake breakfast was a success

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office held a pancake breakfast fundraiser on April 9, which was a huge success. We estimate close to 700 people came and showed their support for our K-9 program.
A number of people have asked the dollar amount that was contributed to our fundraiser.
To date, $8,241.85 have been deposited. There are anticipated donations that haven’t been received yet, which will also be deposited. All funds donated toward the K-9 program, including stuffed puppy sales and raffles for the computer, will be deposited specifically toward the K-9 program and will not be used for any other expense.
All of us at the Sheriff’s Office are thankful to everyone who contributed to our K-9 program. Stalker will be equipped with a bullet resistant vest, health insurance and other training items to keep him healthy and ready to serve our citizens.
Any questions, please call.
