2nd half helps A-C put down Madelia

The Alden-Conger boys’ basketball team used a 31-point second half to run away from Madelia in Friday night’s matchup, 51-33.
Dillan Lein scored 17 points and Gavin Steele chipped in with 10, as the Knights extended their five-point halftime lead into an 18-point victory.
The Knights scored 17 points from the free throw line and only hit two threes in the game.
Dalton Bradley had eight points, four assists, three rebounds and three assists for Alden-Conger.
The win snaps a seven-game losing streak that dated back to Dec. 22, 2016.
Alden-Conger is 2-9 on the season and plays in Lanesboro on Monday.
