Erika Bute has been spectacular this season for the Alden-Conger girls’ basketball team. Thursday night was no different, but her teammate — eighth-grader Abbie Theusch — stole the show.

Theusch scored 31 points, had seven steals and six rebounds in a 67-52 win over Madelia.

Bute scored 25 points and had six steals as the Knights outscored the Blackhawks 32-15 in the first half.

Alden-Conger registered 23 steals in the game and moved to 7-4 with the win.

It will host Mankato Loyola on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
