The Alden-Conger girls’ basketball season came to an end sooner than it would have liked Tuesday.

The Knights matched up with St. Clair in the first round of sections, and fell 61-43 on the road.

Alden-Conger was only down by seven points at halftime, but St. Clair was able to extend its lead in the second half and keep the Knights from making any runs to get back into the game.
