ALDEN — The Knights are on fire, and have now won their last six games.
The Alden-Conger/Glenville-Emmons football team defeated Mankato Loyola 33-6 Friday night in Alden.
The Knights’ rushing game continued to dominate, with all five of the team’s touchdowns coming on carries. All together, AC/GE rushed for 327 yards on 54 carries.
“Great team effort tonight. Offensive line dominated from the get go and let our running game take over,” coach Chad Mattson said. “Can’t say enough good things about those guys tonight.”
The AC/GE Knights, now 6-1 on the season and in their conference standings, will now go on the road to play their last regular season game at 7 p.m. Wednesday against the Knights of Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s.
