Mark Krueger, 1956-2018

Funeral Services for Mark David Krueger of Rochester will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Concordia Lutheran Church of Pickerel Lake in rural Albert Lea. Interment will be in Concordia Lutheran Cemetery in Pickerel Lake. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church.
Mark died Thursday, April 12, 2018, at his home in Rochester. He was 61.
He was born Dec. 13, 1956, in Albert Lea, the son of Loren M. and Dorothy E. (Dahlen) Krueger. In 1952, the family moved to Rochester, where Mark grew up and graduated from high school
He attended college in Colorado and then made his home in Yosemite National Park. In 1997, Mark moved back to Minnesota, where he had been working as a crossing guard for Rochester schools, a job he truly enjoyed.
He was a motorcycle enthusiast and had a great interest in classic cars. He loved tinkering and working on stuff in his woodshop, always working on a project.
Mark will be remembered as a great storyteller and had a knack for making people laugh.
Mark is survived by his son, Aaron Ludwig, his wife, Melinda, and their children Thatcher, Sutsie and Abram of Yosemite National Park; brothers Steve Krueger of El Paso, Texas, and Dennis (Carol) Krueger of Pine Island; sister, Susan (Terry) Sutton, of The Villages, Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Loren and Dorothy Krueger.
