The Northwood-Kensett volleyball team traveled to Mason City on Tuesday and came away with a win in the second round of regional action.

The Vikings defeated the Knights of Newman Catholic High 3-2, with all five games being nail-biters.

Northwood-Kensett won the first two, dropped the next two, then won the last game 15-11. The Knights advance to play Janesville at 7 p.m. Friday at Newman Catholic High School.
