A real in-school medical clinic?

There were two interesting articles on the Front Page of the Albert Lea Tribune dated Aug. 20.

The first article headline was “School board seeks levy renewal.”

I would not object to those taxes as our children need a good education.

The second headline was “District mulls idea of on-site clinic.”

This puzzles me. I would imagine every working person in Albert Lea would delight in having free medical aid. Even lab tests cost money.

It will be quite interesting to see how this will be funded if it is put into action.

I, myself, have to pay my property taxes, health insurance and any medical treatment my insurance company does not cover.

Why would school employees be treated any differently?
