Janice worked many jobs throughout her life, and her career brought her to many different places including: Florida, Maine, Iowa and Minnesota. Recently, she worked as a nurse for St. John’s Lutheran Community. She was known at St. John’s for the caring hugs she gave to the residents.

Janice enjoyed cooking, shopping and was a very talented seamstress. Family was very important to Janice. She had a strong personality, and people looked up to her to take control of any situation. She was very generous, soft-hearted and giving — almost to a fault. She had a wonderful sense of humor. Most of all, Janice was blessed to work as a nurse in a career that she truly loved.

Janice is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Thelma Lincoln; as well as a grandson, Josh Pilcher.

Those left to cherish Janice’s memory include her husband, George Lenzen; children Gary (Carol) Pilcher, Brenda Pilcher, Terri Pilcher, Diane (Noli Jr.) Santos and Cindy (Jeff) Hicks; grandchildren Crystal (Justin) Wirtz, Tiffani (Jeremy) White, Caleb Pilcher, Erich Pilcher, Marjorie (Tom) Heckler, Joseph (Adria) Pilcher, Tonya Santos, Abbey Santos, Anthony Riley, Adam Pilcher and Austin Hicks; great-grandchildren Simeon, Jaren and Avory Wirtz, Gavin, Oliver and Levi Heckler and Wyatt Pilcher; siblings Eugene Turner, Joyce Luhm, Richard Lincoln and Bernie Cornick; as well as many loving nieces, nephews and other relatives.
