Shirley Pierce

Shirley Mae (Holmlund) Pierce, 83, of Thompson, Iowa, died Monday, Aug. 8, 2016, at Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City, Iowa. A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Bethany Lutheran Church at 183 Second Ave. E in Thompson. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Bethany Lutheran Church in Thompson and again one hour prior to the service on Friday. Inurnment will take place at Rose Hill Cemetery in Thompson at a later date.

Elisabeth Dickson, 83, of Alden died today, Aug. 10, 2016, at Parkview Care Center in Wells. Services are pending with Bayview/Freeborn Funeral Home in Albert Lea.
