Marcus Gaskill recorded 20 points and pulled down 17 rebounds for a double-double Friday as the Lake Mills Bulldogs boys’ basketball team defeated the Armstrong-Ringsted Mustangs 69-65 in overtime in Armstrong.

Tim Brandt scored 18 points for Lake Mills, while Alex Grunhovd finished with 14 points.

“It was a hard fought, physical game,” Lake Mills coach Kyle Menke said. “Our guys showed excellent composure in overtime to pull out the win.”

The Bulldogs had seven 3-pointers on the night.

Brandt made four 3-pointers, while Grunhovd had two 3-pointers and Tyler Rice had one.

Lake Mills is back in action at 7 p.m. on Monday against Central Springs in Lake Mills.
