Teaming up on the golf course

- The Unified Tigers participated in the Special Olympics state golf tournament on Aug. 16 at Oak Marsh Golf Course in Oakdale. Athletes and their unified partners participated in a three- or nine-hole alternate shot format. Kellen Kaasa, left, and Phil Schmidt compted in the division one nine-hole format and earned gold medals with a score of 37. — Provided
- Taylor Shaft and Jeff Shaft won a bronze medal with a score of 64 in the division 21 nine-hole format. — Provided
- Leon Bure and Van Schultz earned a silver medal in the three-hole alternate shot format with a score of 26.2 in division four. — Provided
